Commerical Lender

MidWest America Federal Credit Union is looking for an individual with 10+ years of experience as a commercial lender. This individual will be responsible for continued development of MWA’s commercial and agricultural loan portfolio. We offer excellent working conditions, benefits, and a competitive compensation package.

The successful candidate will need the ability to prepare cash flows and loan summaries, understand loan closing documentation, and have customer calling experience. A background in residential mortgages is a plus.

Member Service Associate

The purpose of the Member Service Associate (MSA) is to provide members with efficient, accurate and friendly service. To promote Credit Union services to members. To perform duties assigned by the MSA Supervisor/Branch Manager.

Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Some prior work experience in sales and keyboarding/computer use preferred.

Individual must possess strong abstract reasoning and problem solving skills. Individual must be able to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Individual must possess strong math skills in order to effectively handle cash. Prefer individual to have working knowledge of operating the following equipment: personal computer, typewriter, 10 key calculator, fax machine, copy machine, check encoder, coin counter, and shredder.

Individual must have the ability to handle the stress of high volume peak periods. Individual must be capable of tactfully communicating with internal contacts such as: MSA Supervisor/Branch Manager, Member Service Associates, and Support System Departments. Individual must be capable of tactfully communicating with external contacts such as: existing and potential new members, outside agencies and institutions, and TeleChex. Individual must have the ability to communicate in English to meet member's needs and accurately interpret data. Individual must possess a degree of physical mobility to be able to carry a cash drawer to his/her work area or to handle night deposits.
