MidWest America Federal Credit Union is proud to
introduce Meals for
Members, a new
initiative designed to help bridge the gap between need and access for members currently enrolled in
the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Through this program, eligible members may
receive a $150 Kroger gift card to assist with grocery expenses. Gift cards are limited to one
per household.
This effort is part of a larger commitment to care for our members in tangible ways. We’re offering this program because MidWest Cares — about the challenges families face, about the importance of nourishment, and about making sure no member feels alone when it comes to putting food on the table.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be current members of MidWest America Federal Credit Union as of October 31, 2025.
- Be actively enrolled in SNAP benefits as of October 31, 2025.
This temporary food assistance program helps qualifying members cover essential groceries and daily needs during times of transition. Applications are simple and your privacy is protected. Once your application is submitted, you will receive instructions on how to verify both qualifications. You will also be given instruction on how and when to pick up a gift card which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
