Computer Operator I

Medical Park Office – Fort Wayne, Indiana


An Associate degree in computer Science is required as well as a high level of language, math, and reasoning skills. Eligible candidates must have at least 3 yrs experience in an I.T. related field with computer operator responsibilities. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education. The person filling this position will be required to work outside their normal hours with minimal notification and should be willing to work overtime when necessary. Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basis.


Major Job Responsibilities Include:

Primary responsibilities of this position are: utilizing software systems to process daily operations, running specified processes at specified times, transferring and receiving files, running scheduled and on-demand reports, generating/coding customer reports and continually monitoring the daily cycle to ensure all tasks are completed as scheduled.  Other duties would include but are not limited to: communicating with outside resources, designing and programming reports as needed, researching and resolving software errors, html and web administration, pc builds/ installations/troubleshooting, and maintaining the security of all systems.


Vice President of Information Technology

Medical Park Office – Fort Wayne, Indiana

This exempt position manages a proactive team, ensures all systems are secure, creates an annual I.T. budget and business plan and directs MidWest America’s technology initiatives.  Other responsibilities include: assessing IT systems, making recommendations on technology investments and managing implementation, vendor management, developing policies, standards, and objectives, and achieving IT department goals and deadlines within the context of our organization's vision and values.  This person is required to work out of our Medical Park office during daily business hours.   


We are looking for a person with strong management skills who will proactively and openly communicate with the management team on a daily basis.  Must possess the ability to manage and lead a cohesive team in a positive manner.  Attention to detail, the ability to handle stress, and a commitment to high level customer service is extremely desirable.  Ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and experience directing or managing networks in a computer operations department.  Five or more years in strategic technology planning, technology project execution and project management is desirable. 


Electronic Service Associate

Medical Park Office – Fort Wayne, Indiana


Must possess good communication and listening skills. Must portray a positive and professional attitude.  Must be dependable and have a good attendance record. Accuracy of records and good phone etiquette are required. Basic knowledge of all Credit Union services helpful.  Must be a team player. Ability to learn and retain new information in a timely manner is essential.  Overtime may be required periodically. Should be able to work flexible hours.


Major Job Responsibilities Include:

Ensure accurate and timely completion of various functions within the Electronic Services Department including, but not limited to, opening and closing of both VISA debit and Home Equity credit cards, processing of lost/stolen debit and credit cards, debit and credit card dispute processing, research and maintenance of existing accounts, scanning and/or verification of department records, printing and preparation of ODT and NSF letters, review and processing of VISA and ODT reports, ATM deposit verification as well as ATM cash evaluation/ordering and branch supply fulfillment prior to managers meetings. Communication with members and coworkers is completed mainly by telephone, with occasional personal contact.


Senior Loan Officer

Building #1 – Fort Wayne, Indiana


Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, 2 years previous financial services background, and previous experience in mortgage loan or consumer loan processing and underwriting.  Must possess a professional attitude and appearance.  Must be goal oriented, flexible, and a creative self-starter.  Must be able to communicate at all levels (written and verbal).  The ability to maintain and develop business relationships with dealer associates is a must.  Quality learning skills with an ability to grasp new ideas and methods is important.  Must be able to retain new information.  Should understand the importance of reliability in a service environment.


Major Job Responsibilities Include:

Underwriting of all consumer loan products.  Ability to assist the department in maintaining timely service standards.  Provide assistance to the AVP Underwriting in the development of training, off-site auto sales, and other promotional activities.  The ability to contribute to the overall profitability of the Credit Union is needed.  Must be willing to work an alternate set schedule and/or overtime as needed for special events. This positions requires a rotating Saturday schedule.


Member Service Representative

Multiple Locations
A positive and professional attitude is needed. Must be dependable and have a good attendance record. Must be able to communicate clearly (verbal and written) and possess good listening skills. Employee should be a self-starter and possess a strong desire to learn. Must enjoy attending to the needs of all members, which includes the ability to aggressively cross-sell all Credit Union products and services to our membership. Problem solving and follow up skills are helpful. Must possess personable and professional phone etiquette. Employee should be self-confident and interact well with coworkers.


Job responsibilities include: Assist members in obtaining loans and other Credit Union products and services. Complete individual job requirements, as well as take part in departmental assignments. Maintain accurate records of all requests. Ensure meeting needs of members by cross-selling Credit Union services.


Member Service Associate

Multiple Locations 

The purpose of the Member Service Associate (MSA) is to provide members with efficient, accurate and friendly service. To promote Credit Union services to members. To perform duties assigned by the MSA Supervisor/Branch Manager.


Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Some prior work experience in sales and keyboarding/computer use preferred.


Individual must possess strong abstract reasoning and problem solving skills. Individual must be able to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Individual must possess strong math skills in order to effectively handle cash. Prefer individual to have working knowledge of operating the following equipment: personal computer, typewriter, 10 key calculator, fax machine, copy machine, coin counter, and shredder.


Individual must have the ability to handle the stress of high volume peak periods. Individual must be capable of tactfully communicating with internal contacts such as: MSA Supervisor/Branch Manager, Member Service Associates, and Support System Departments. Individual must be capable of tactfully communicating with external contacts such as: existing and potential new members, outside agencies and institutions, and TeleChex. Individual must have the ability to communicate in English to meet member's needs and accurately interpret data. Individual must possess a degree of physical mobility to be able to carry a cash drawer to his/her work area or to handle night deposits.
