An Accounting Specialist is responsible for helping safeguard Credit Union assets through due diligence in the areas of fixed assets, returned checks, court orders and other areas as assigned. Prepare accurate and timely reconciliations of general ledger clearing accounts, reports to the Board or Directors, Management, vendors, and all other support departments as required.
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of working in the banking industry or related equivalent field. Incumbent must have past experience writing up general ledger entries, handling general ledger account reconciliations and handling general ledger research and clearing.
Provide accurate, timely, and courteous service to our members by providing efficient assistance in answering questions and providing professional services. Process reconciliations for completion, including researching and resolving any outstanding items. Process and maintain reports necessary to finish the 5300 requirements, financial statements, Board or Directors, and outside vendors. Knowledge and ability to post general ledger entries as required. Other administrative duties as assigned by the AVP of Accounting to meet department goals.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette skills, problem solving skills, math skills, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Possess good attention to detail, demonstrate reasonable abstract reasoning, good decision-making skills, and display tact and professionalism in working closely with co-workers, other departments and members.
Manager of Facilities and Expansion
The Manager of Facilities and Expansion is a motivated individual that will be responsible for building maintenance and renovations, maintenance of equipment, new building construction, and ATM expansions. Position is Monday through Friday business hours with occasional after hours as needed.
An Associates Degree/extensive knowledge in building trades is preferred. The applicant should possess a minimum of 5 years experience with building maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, contract negotiations, the ability to work with contractors to coordinate construction projects, working knowledge of commercial blueprints, purchasing and inventory control experience.
Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, with current PC skills, and excellent communication & people skills. Position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with limited travel required.
Member Service Associate
The purpose of the Member Service Associate (MSA - Teller) is to provide members with efficient, accurate and friendly service. To promote Credit Union services to members. To perform duties assigned by the MSA Supervisor/Branch Manager.
Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. Previous cash handling experience, sales experience, and experience in keyboarding/computer is required.
Individual must possess strong abstract reasoning and problem solving skills. Individual must be able to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Individual must possess strong math skills in order to effectively handle cash. Prefer individual to have working knowledge of operating the following equipment: personal computer, 10 key calculator, fax machine, copy machine, coin counter, and shredder.
Individual must have the ability to handle the stress of high volume peak periods. Individual must be capable of tactfully communicating with internal contacts such as: MSA Supervisor/Branch Manager, Member Service Associates, and Support System Departments. Individual must be capable of tactfully communicating with external contacts such as: existing and potential new members, outside agencies and institutions, and TeleChex. Individual must have the ability to communicate in English to meet member’s needs and accurately interpret data. Spanish speaking skills a plus. Individual must possess a degree of physical mobility to be able to carry a cash drawer to his/her work area or to handle night deposits.
Member Service Representative
The purpose of the Member Service Representative (MSR - Loan Officer) is to provide members with efficient, accurate, and friendly service. To promote Credit Union services and loan products to members. To perform duties assigned by the Branch Manager.
Individual must have a high school diploma or GED. Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills. Prior work experience in PC usage and sales required. Must promote a positive environment, team cohesiveness, initiative, independent thinking, and support of Branch Manager’s leadership style.
Individual must be able to efficiently and accurately conduct branch operations as directed by Branch Manager using appropriate techniques to perform duties in teller and member service areas as required. Assist members in obtaining loans and other Credit Union products and services. Complete individual job requirements, individual sales goals, as well as take part in departmental assignments. Maintain accurate records of all requests. Ensure meeting needs of members by cross-selling Credit Union services

The Underwriting Processor will serve as primary clerical support for the underwriting staff and department manager. They ensure servicing functions for all mortgage loan products are processed in a timely and accurate manner. This will include application of exception payments, payoffs and payments to vendors of taxes and insurance paid via escrow. They assist with annual escrow analysis and PMI notice to borrowers. They perform year-end adjustments to prepare for interest reporting and scan all documents for department including all homeowner insurance policies. They provide dealers with current rate sheets and correspondence as well as fulfill supply orders for all dealerships. They prepare sales materials for department manager to present to new dealerships and perform all other duties as may be assigned by department manager.
Must have the ability to administer a variety of job duties. Good organizational skills are necessary. Attention to detail and quality learning skills are a must. Employee must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Must understand the importance of reliability in a service environment. Previous experience in underwriting, accounts payable, or accounting preferred but not required.
